We are looking for an experienced support worker / SEN Specialist Nanny to care for a 6 year old boy who has cerebral palsy and additional needs. The support worker will assist our client at home with all of his personal care, nutritional, medical and leisure needs. This role would suit applicants with prior experience in support roles with children, specialist nanny roles, school based TA roles and paediatric healthcare assistant roles. Experience in working with children is essential.
Applicants must have a full clean driving licence and access to their own vehicle as the client's location is not accessible by public transport.
Part time positions are currently available to cover the following shift times:
- 06:30 to 09:30 (*paid for four hours) weekdays
- 15:00 to 20:00 weekdays
- 10 hour day time shift every Saturday (times vary)
Additional hours will be available during school holidays and occasional Sundays.
Rates of pay:
- £17.00 per hour for weekday day shift
- £19.00 per hour for weekend day shift
* morning weekday shifts paid as four hours for a three hour shift.
Two excellent references and an enhanced DBS check will be pursued.
