Location: The Hand Stadium, Clevedon, North Somerset

Hours: 15 hours per week

Contract: 12 month FTC - with a view to becoming Permanent after this time

Hourly rate: £14 / hour

Job Overview

As Kitchen & Hospitality Coordinator, you will take ownership of kitchen and hospitality operations, supporting the next chapter of growth for the Hand Stadium.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and hospitality areas.
  • Prepare and serve refreshments during fixtures, events and community activities.
  • Ensure hospitality areas are welcoming, organised and professionally presented.
  • Support hospitality requirements for players, officials, volunteers and visitors.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety.
  • Complete food safety records, cleaning schedules and compliance checks.
  • Ensure kitchen, storage and serving areas remain safe, clean and well maintained.
  • Manage stock levels and place orders as required.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor stock usage and minimise waste.
  • Provide operational and administrative support during quieter periods and throughout the off-season.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support events, activities and community programmes.
  • Contribute to the smooth running and continued development of The Hand Stadium.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working within a kitchen, café, catering or busy hospitality environment.
  • A good understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible working is essential – available for Saturday fixtures, Sunday fixtures when scheduled, midweek evening fixtures throughout the football season, and additional hours during tournaments, events and other busy periods.
  • Optional: Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above).
  • Experience managing stock and placing orders.
  • Experience working within a sports, leisure, charity or community environment.
