More about working for North Somerset RTC as a football coach

  • Current vacancy is for Tuesday evenings at our Clevedon site for training and Saturday mornings (YDP) or afternoons (Foundation Phase) for matches. Outstanding candidates will have the opportunity for further work.
  • Excellent rates of pay – starting rates of £12.50 per hour for assistant coaches and £17.50 per hour for lead coaches with opportunities to earn up to £25 per hour for outstanding applicants (UEFA-qualified).
  • Primarily term‑time work with the potential to coach fixtures and fun days on an ad hoc basis during school holidays.
  • Opportunity to gain experience and develop your coaching ability within our highly successful set‑up. Internal CPD offered as standard, led by a UEFA A‑licensed coach and former international football manager.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching high‑quality football sessions for players.
  • Communication with children and parents to ensure smooth running and success of sessions and matches.
  • Physically able to deliver active sessions with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Travel to venues, looking after equipment, etc.

We are looking for

  • Confident, out‑going personality with bags of energy and a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience of working with children.
  • UEFA C qualification is desirable but not essential (must be willing to work towards it).
  • Reliability and commitment to training for the entire season (Sep‑July).
