Front-End Developer (React) – Contract (Outside IR35)

Recruiting on behalf of a leading UK technology consultancy. Are you a seasoned Front-End Developer with deep React expertise? North Scout are supporting a well-respected UK technology consultancy in hiring an experienced contractor to join their team on a high-impact project for a major enterprise client. This consultancy specialises in building bespoke, high-quality digital applications for some of the UK’s largest organisations and they’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running.

This is a UI-focused position where you’ll work within a small, collaborative team of four, while also engaging with multiple internal teams at the end-client. You’ll be responsible for developing reusable components, helping streamline front-end functionality, and ensuring smooth integration with established backend systems.

Responsibilities

  • Front-end application development for a major enterprise-scale system
  • Pulling out UI elements and packaging them for use in backend systems
  • Ensuring consistent, maintainable, and scalable front-end solutions
  • Collaborating with designers, back-end engineers, and internal delivery teams

£400/day outside IR35. Fully Remote with no expectation to travel to client site.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with React (extensive, not junior level)
  • Proven ability to build reusable components and packages
  • Experience integrating APIs and following best-practice standards
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
