We are looking for an experienced and driven Lettings Negotiator with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential lettings to join our team. This is a fast-paced, target-driven role focused on generating new business, converting enquiries into lets, and delivering a high standard of service to both landlords and tenants.
You will play a key role in the day-to-day lettings activity, working closely with the Lettings Manager to maximise performance across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Manage applicant enquiries and proactively match them to suitable properties
- Conduct property viewings and convert opportunities into agreed lets
- Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants to achieve the best outcomes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, ensuring regular communication and feedback
- Support the marketing of properties, ensuring listings are accurate, high quality, and competitively priced
- Progress deals from offer agreed through to move-in, liaising with referencing and property management teams
- Maintain accurate records on CRM systems and ensure all activity is up to date
- Contribute to achieving team KPIs including lets agreed, viewings conducted, and pipeline management
- Stay up to date with market conditions, competitor activity, and local rental trends
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential lettings within the UK
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lettings targets
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to manage landlord and tenant expectations
- ARLA Propertymark qualification or working towards
- Full UK driving licence
- Consistently achieving weekly and monthly letting targets
- High conversion rates from enquiry to viewing and viewing to let agreed
- Strong landlord retention through effective communication and results
- Proactive management of applicants and available stock to maximise opportunities
