About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Property Management to lead and oversee our residential property management operations across the UK. This senior leadership role is responsible for strategic direction, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and delivery of exceptional service to clients, tenants, and stakeholders. You will play a key role in driving portfolio performance, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring our property management services meet the highest professional and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Property Management function across the portfolio.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient, compliant, and customer-focused service delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with UK property legislation, including Landlord & Tenant law, Health & Safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior property management and facilities teams.
- Manage budgets, service charge accounts, and financial performance, ensuring cost control and value for money.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, investors, tenants and external suppliers.
- Oversee procurement and performance of contractors and managing agents.
- Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation, and adoption of best practice.
- Support business growth through portfolio expansion, client retention, and service enhancement.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to the Board and senior leadership team.
Skills & Experience
- Proven senior leadership experience in residential property management.
- Strong knowledge of UK property legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrable experience managing large property portfolios and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting and service charge management.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
- Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
Qualifications (Desirable)
- Professional qualification such as ARLA, or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence.
