Part-Time Delivery Driver – North Park Pharmacy, Maryhill
North Park Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our fantastic team in Maryhill.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out and about, meeting people and becoming part of a busy, friendly independent community pharmacy.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering prescriptions to patients throughout the local area
- Collecting prescriptions and paperwork from local GP surgeries
- Making scheduled deliveries to care homes
- Ensuring prescriptions are transported safely, securely and confidentially
- Communicating professionally and courteously with patients, surgery teams and care-home staff
- Helping the pharmacy team with delivery organisation and route planning
- Providing additional cover when our regular driver is on annual leave or unavailable
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly, approachable and professional
- Confident driving around Glasgow and the surrounding area
- Well organised and able to manage a delivery schedule
- Comfortable dealing with patients, GP surgeries and care homes
- Able to work independently while being part of a close-knit pharmacy team
- Flexible enough to provide additional holiday cover when required
- Careful and respectful when handling confidential patient information
A full UK driving licence is essential.
Previous pharmacy, healthcare or delivery experience would be useful but is not essential – the right attitude, reliability and personality are more important.
