North Oxford Garage is looking for a Used Car Stock Controller to join our dynamic and fast-paced Used Car operation. This is a key role supporting our Used Car Manager, ensuring every vehicle is processed, prepared, advertised and ready for sale to the highest BMW standards.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Stock Intake & Vehicle Administration
  • Booking in all used car arrivals including purchases, part exchanges and trade-ins.
  • Checking documentation, keys, service history and accessories.
  • Completing CAP / valuation checks and updating dealer management systems.
  • Ensuring accurate processing and coding of invoices.
  • Preparation & Workshop Coordination
  • Raising and managing preparation ROs for mechanical and cosmetic work.
  • Liaising with our service and SMART repair teams to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Tracking each vehicle through preparation with a target turnaround of under 5 days.
  • Reporting delays and issues to the Used Car Manager daily.
  • Photography, Videos & Merchandising
  • Online Advertising & Listing Management
  • Pricing & Competitor Monitoring
  • Aged Stock Management
  • Stock Mix & Forecasting Support
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensuring every retail vehicle is fully compliant and sale-ready.
  • Working with administrators to ensure complete sales files.
  • Upholding GDPR, FCA and BMW brand standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience with dealer management systems (e.g., Kerridge, Pinnacle, Keyloop)
  • Understanding of used car processes and vehicle preparation
  • Digital advertising or merchandising experience

It would be advantageous to have:

  • Ability to multi-task across multiple vehicles and deadlines
  • Previous experience in a stock controller or sales admin role
  • Auto Trader or i-Control proficiency
  • Photography or digital media experience
  • Knowledge of BMW products and options
