The predicted salary is between 13800 - 17460 £ per year.

Hours: Part time – 21 hours over 3 days

Location: Nottingham (home working 1 day per week can be considered)

Salary: £15.00 per hour – 21 hours = £16,380 per annum (£27,300 full time equivalent)

Ideally, be available to work additional hours to provide holiday cover for up to 20 days per annum.

My client is an independent advisory practice, based in Nottingham and they are looking for an individual to join their small team on a part time basis, providing administrative support to the Financial Advisors.

Responsibilities

  • New business processing, including:
  • Obtaining and completing application paperwork
  • Sending new business to providers
  • Submitting business on main investment Platform
  • Entering business onto back-office system
  • Managing and updating tasks on back-office system
  • Chasing business through to completion
  • Chasing fees
  • Processing ‘Letters of authority’, including:
    • Generating requests for information
    • Sending to providers
    • Managing and updating tasks on back-office system
    • Chasing providers for outstanding information
    • Inputting plan information on back-office system
  • Answering the telephone
  • Dealing with incoming post
  • Scanning and saving documents to back-office system
  • Client and Provider liaison
  • Generating recorded/special delivery post online & delivering to post office
  • Client research and preparation for adviser meetings with clients
  • General administration
  • Qualifications and capabilities

    Essential:

    • Previous IFA / Wealth Management administration experience
    • Experience of using back-office systems
    • Experience of using Platforms/Wraps
    • Knowledge of Pensions and Investments
    • Basic compliance knowledge and understanding of what makes a compliant file
    • Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
    • Good computer literacy and typing skills
    • Comfortable following prescribed processes
    • Able to work alone using own initiative

    Preferred but not essential:

    • Experience of using Intelligent Office back-office system
    • Industry qualifications
