Leicester (Our Ref AL1415) fully office based Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

My client is a well-established wealth management firm, and they are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Services Administrator to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years experience in financial services administration who is confident managing client documentation, liaising with providers, and supporting advisers with more technical aspects of financial planning. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient operations and delivering a high standard of service to both clients and advisers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering incoming calls and acting as a first point of contact for clients
  • Welcoming clients into the office and preparing meeting rooms and refreshments
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Scanning, organising, and uploading documents to CRM systems
  • Monitoring shared inboxes and handling correspondence
  • Liaising with providers to chase outstanding information
  • Maintaining the FCA daybook for advisers
  • Processing letters of authority and organising policy documentation
  • Supporting advisers with client file organisation and post-meeting administration
  • Preparing portfolio overviews based on provider information
  • Producing financial planning reports, including: Defaqto risk reports, FE Analytics fund research, CashCalc cashflow modelling reports
  • Preparing annual review documentation, including: Portfolio valuations, Fund performance and analysis, Cashflow reports (where required)
  • Assisting with business submissions and simple online applications
  • Attending meetings with advisers where required to support the advice process
About You:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 3-5 years experience in a financial services administration role
  • Have a strong understanding of financial planning processes and documentation
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be confident liaising with providers, clients, and advisers
  • Be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Have experience using CRM systems and financial planning tools
  • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with tools such as Defaqto, FE Analytics, or CashCalc
