Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, empathetic and enthusiastic Wellbeing Specialist to lead and deliver workplace wellbeing initiatives across our organisation, fostering a sense of community and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the HSW Strategic Lead to develop corporate wellbeing strategies and implement associated action plans.
  • Develop and influence corporate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with wellbeing related legislation.
  • Design and implement wellbeing assessments, surveys and toolkits for managers.
  • Deliver training, workshops and awareness sessions on health and wellbeing subjects (e.g. Mental Health First Aid, Management Training).
  • Design, deliver, coordinate and evaluate engaging wellbeing programmes tailored to diverse workplace needs.
  • Develop and support a network of wellbeing volunteers.
  • Craft compelling digital and physical wellbeing content (podcasts, articles, toolkits, videos, staff communications and displays).
  • Respond promptly to enquiries through communication channels such as team mailbox and viva engage.
  • Monitor and review wellbeing performance and provide information to senior management teams.
  • Demonstrate awareness of equal opportunities and support colleagues with diverse wellbeing needs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional qualification in a health and wellbeing related discipline.
  • Proven ability to deliver evidence‑based, person‑centred wellbeing strategies in the workplace.
  • Experience in complex organisations and systems thinking.
  • Comfortable with hybrid working and willing to travel between sites across North Northamptonshire.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and proactive ownership of tasks.
