Join North Northamptonshire Council's Housing Service Improvement Team at a time of real change and investment. As a Tenant Engagement Officer, you'll work directly with tenants, leaseholders and communities to make sure their views are heard, acted on, and embedded into how we deliver housing services. You'll help design and deliver engagement activities, build tenant confidence, and create opportunities for residents to influence decision‑making.

What will you be doing?

You'll be responsible for creating opportunities for tenants to shape and influence housing services. Your work will include:

  • Building positive relationships with tenants, leaseholders and community groups.
  • Developing and leading on delivering engagement activities, consultations and events.
  • Supporting tenants to take part in panels, forums and scrutiny groups.
  • Helping tenants influence service improvements, policy changes and local priorities.
  • Working with colleagues across the housing service to ensure services are co‑designed with residents.
  • Promoting tenant engagement through newsletters, digital platforms and social media.
  • Ensuring that engagement activities are inclusive, accessible and representative of all tenants.
