We are looking for a Traveller Site Officer to deliver front‐line housing management services on North Northamptonshire Council's traveller sites. You will provide a first‐class, customer‐focused service, including income collection, arrears support, coordinating repairs as well as all aspects of site management. A key part of the role is building strong relationships with residents, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing engagement across our sites and services. Responsibilities

  • The Traveller Site Officer will provide visible site management, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and ensure health and safety compliance.
  • They will work closely with residents, addressing behaviour concerns, supporting those with complex needs, and promoting positive engagement.
  • Duties include managing site operations, overseeing voids and allocations, supporting income collection and arrears recovery, and taking appropriate legal action when required.
  • The role also involves accurate record‐keeping, preparing reports, responding to enquiries, and contributing to service improvements and performance targets.
