As a Community Enablement Worker within the LIVE team, you will be supporting adults with complex disabilities work towards and achieve their Learning, Independence, Volunteering and Employment goals. LIVE is an enabling service that encourages and supports positive risk taking.

As a CEW, you will work with our customers to create vocational profiles and development plans focused on goals and ambitions. Raising ambition and challenging fears, stereotypes and myths will be an important part of your role. You will be based at a LIVE site as well as in the community and onsite with employers. Our CEW team is key to understanding what support needs to look like and how we can best deliver to meet the needs of our customers.

  • Identifying support needs and finding solutions and resolving issues
  • Employer engagement

  • Raising ambitions and supporting people to achieve their full potential
  • Working with customers in groups and on a one-to-one basis
  • Supporting at workplaces and within the community, including LIVE projects
  • Creating bespoke vocational profiles
  • Working with customers to write development plans focused on goals
  • Supporting LIVE to raise its profile, take positive risks, and break down barriers
