Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and delivery of health improvement initiatives.
- Support strategic planning and innovative approaches to public health.
- Help embed the value of prevention across council services.
- Work collaboratively with partners across health, social care, voluntary and community sectors.
- Provide technical and system‑wide expertise within your specialist area (Adult Health Improvement or Children and Young People).
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in public health, health improvement or a related field.
- Knowledge of evidence‑based practice and population health approaches.
- Strong partnership working and communication skills.
- Ability to work both strategically and operationally.
