North Northamptonshire Council is offering a Sports Assistant position at Lodge Park Sports Centre. This role involves supporting both front‑of‑house and behind‑the‑scenes operations of a busy leisure facility.
What will you be doing?
- Provide outstanding customer service, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Support the smooth operation of our leisure facilities, both front of house and behind the scenes.
- Assist in gym activities, fitness inductions and coaching sessions (training provided).
- Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment care.
- Play an active role in setting up and supporting events and activities.
- Monitor the wellbeing of customers and respond to incidents, including administering first aid when required.
- Work at weekends, evenings and early mornings – dedication and reliability are essential.
