About The Role

Are you up for the challenge? We are looking for an exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Schools Finance team.

The post will assist in the provision of financial support delivered by our Schools Finance Traded Services team, supporting the provision of high-quality financial support to Schools within Children’s Services Finance.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing organisation and be an integral part of shaping and growing our new team.

What will you be doing?

Accountant Supporting Children’s Services Schools Finance

You will assist schools with budget management through phone support and in-person meetings. In addition to this, you will also provide support to the wider team by providing support with various financial tasks and processes.

About You

You will be AAT Qualified (or qualified by experience).

We are looking for an individual with drive, initiative and confidence. We want you to help create the financial foundations that will shape the future of the Council. This is a truly unique opportunity to be part of this exciting journey of service transformation across North Northamptonshire.

The successful candidate will be able to put in practice a wide range of their finance skills and business acumen as we shape our finances to assist in the delivery of our corporate priorities and help us develop excellent services for our residents.
