Our Public Protection Team plays a vital role in safeguarding public health and safety across this diverse district, which includes market towns and seaside resorts. The team faces a range of regulatory challenges in various working environments.
You will work closely with businesses to ensure they produce, prepare, and serve food that is safe to eat. You will also help ensure compliance with duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. As a key member of the Public Protection Team, the successful candidate will undertake regulatory activities, including enforcement. Please note there is one vacancy, and the level of appointment will depend on the essential criteria met.
Weβre seeking a self-motivated and qualified Environmental Health Professional experienced in food safety inspection and enforcement to join our highly regarded department. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality public services and possess skills such as clear communication, excellent customer service, and workload prioritization.
