Environmental Protection Officer

We have a fantastic Environmental Protection Officer role available. The role covers a variety of duties including Statutory Nuisance, Antisocial Behaviour, and Environmental Crime investigations. We would love to have a candidate who wants to make a positive difference to the environment, lives, and wellbeing of people within the coastal and rural district of North Norfolk. Please note this is a part-time role, 22 hours per week.

We are looking for someone with a relevant degree/qualification and experience, or candidates with substantial regulatory experience. As an organisation, we encourage professional development and support further training opportunities. You must have excellent communication and customer care skills, and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. The ability to work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative is essential. The successful candidate will be well organised and able to work flexibly. A full driving license and daily access to a vehicle is essential.
