Overview
We are looking for Countryside Rangers to join our small team. The Rangers will be responsible for day‑to‑day management of woodlands and informal open spaces across North Norfolk, ensuring they remain high quality, welcoming, and accessible public spaces for community recreation, nature conservation and forestry.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement practical woodland and conservation management practices.
- Provide guidance and assistance to visitors.
- Look after volunteers.
- Help deliver school, group and family events.
Qualifications
- Previous industry experience with a demonstrable level of practical experience in woodland management.
- A polite disposition, problem‑solving ability and capacity to work independently.
- Strong customer service skills and experience working with volunteers.
- Flexible approach to working hours and reliable access to transport.
