We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person into the role of Paeds Nutrition and Dietetics Administrator within our Enfield Community Service. This is a permanent part-time position (3 days a week). Our aim is to provide a high level of customer-focused, patient care. You will have day-to-day responsibility for providing a high-quality service to the team and be able to cover colleagues as and when required. You will ensure that all patient referrals and appointments are accurately recorded on our Patient Information system, RIO.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities:

The role is administrative, requiring good organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will liaise regularly with clinicians and other admin staff, work well under pressure, show initiative, and be a team player. Good IT skills and previous office or reception experience, preferably in healthcare, are essential. You will be proactive and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Tasks include:

  • Opening referrals on RIO
  • Maintaining referral and waiting list spreadsheets
  • Sending appointments
  • Handling queries from patients, GPs, and professionals
  • Booking clinic appointments
  • Liaising with schools
  • Printing, scanning, uploading documents
  • Supervising a junior administrator
  • Other office duties as required
