Are you passionate about cars and curious about how they work? Are you ready to break into a new, exciting career? We are offering the opportunity to break into the automotive industry, gain experience and build a rewarding career through our Mechanics Apprenticeship Programme.
The employer will be a local garage in your area, which we will work with you to identify and secure. You will spend four days gaining hands-on experience in the workplace, developing practical skills and learning about the day-to-day operations of the automotive industry. This placement is designed to help build your confidence, experience, and employability.
You will be employed full time in a garage and attend college one day each week on our Level 2 motor vehicle programme with progression to Level 3 on completion. This course will provide:
- hands-on mechanical skills through practical training
- a welcoming and supportive learning environment
- one-on-one mentorship & guidance from experienced industry professionals
Following the completion of your Intermediate Apprenticeship (18 months), we recommend that you continue onto an advanced apprenticeship (12 months) to become a fully qualified Light Vehicle Technician. From there you can progress to roles such as MOT Tester, Senior Technician or Workshop Manager.
