Job Description:
As a Trainee Dental Nurse Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced dental professionals, providing essential support during procedures and ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly. You will receive comprehensive training to help you develop the skills needed to become a fully qualified dental nurse, contributing to the overall success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring instruments and materials are prepared and readily available.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilise instruments, and set up for appointments.
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and support throughout their visit.
- Ensure all cross-infection control procedures are followed and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Carry out administrative duties as required, supporting the smooth running of the practice.
- Continue to develop knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and relevant courses.
Full-Time Role:
Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 1 Saturday per month
Part-Time Role: Flexible hours to suit availability
Skills and Competencies:
- Enthusiasm and a genuine interest in dental care.
