We are a well-established family-run dental practice located in Friern Barnet (N11), proudly serving patients across North London, including New Southgate, Arnos Grove, East Barnet, Finchley, and Bounds Green. Our clinic is dedicated to offering high-quality, affordable dental care, prioritising gentle, pain-free treatments and exceptional service. We offer a wide range of services from general family care and hygiene treatments to advanced procedures such as Invisalign, dental implants, teeth whitening, and full smile makeovers. Our practice is built on a foundation of personalised care in a warm, welcoming environment, with the goal of helping every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile.
We are now looking for a talented and dedicated Dental Nurse or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. Whether you are newly qualified or have equivalent experience, we are looking for someone who is flexible, proactive, and eager to grow within our supportive practice.
As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality clinical, administrative, and receptionist support, ensuring a positive experience for patients at every stage of their visit. You will also mentor and support trainee nurses, helping to guide them through their training journey. You will be a vital part of our practice, contributing to its smooth running while helping to deliver excellent care to our patients.
Working Hours:
- Monday/Friday: 09:15 – 18:45
- Saturday: 08:45 – 17:15 (Must be available to work 2 out of every 3 Saturdays, in addition to Monday – Friday shifts.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine clinical duties as a modern Dental Nurse, including a dual role as Treatment Coordinator.
- Support the organisation of nursing staff and ensure the practice's compliance standards are met.
- Track patient leads and inquiries via various platforms (GoHighLevel CRM, website, social media, etc.).
- Handle patient enquiries and phone calls in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications:
- Dental Nurse certification or experience as a Trainee Dental Nurse.
- Proven experience in dental nursing and administrative duties.
- For trainee candidates: Letter of enrolment, strong commitment to further training and development.
- Proficiency in dental software and IT systems for scheduling and patient record-keeping.
- Must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to London prior to starting.
- GDC registration or intent to obtain one upon qualification (for trainees, a Letter of Enrolment is acceptable).
- Must be available to work 2 out of every 3 Saturdays in addition to weekday shifts.
