To plan and provide an effective range of social work services for disabled children, young people, their families and carers that enable them to achieve their outcomes and are protected from harm with a focus on high quality social care contributions to children and young people's Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP's).
Whilst the successful candidate will work alongside the wider children's disability service, their area of responsibility will be ensuring social care contributions for all children who are having an EHCP assessment of need.
The successful applicant will need a good understanding of North Lincolnshire Council's local offer, services available, the EHCP process and the SEND system.
The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of the service area alongside the Practice Supervisor.
There will be an expectation of the successful candidate attending panel meetings as part of the role.
Candidates must be able to evidence their right to work in the UK. Please note the council does not hold a sponsor licence to sponsor people to work in the UK.
