Role Overview
Provide absence cover at different schools in the NLC area. A full and valid driving licence and use of a car are required. Mileage will be paid at the standard NLC rate.
Responsibilities
- Help prepare and serve nutritious school meals
- Set up and clear the dining area
- Wash up and keep the kitchen clean and tidy
- Support the cook with food prep and cooking
- Follow hygiene and safety procedures
- Complete kitchen paperwork (e.g., cleaning schedules, temperature logs)
Qualifications and Requirements
- Full and valid driving licence and access to a car
- Physical ability to stand, lift and work at pace in a busy school kitchen
