Role Overview

Provide absence cover at different schools in the NLC area. A full and valid driving licence and use of a car are required. Mileage will be paid at the standard NLC rate.

Responsibilities

  • Help prepare and serve nutritious school meals
  • Set up and clear the dining area
  • Wash up and keep the kitchen clean and tidy
  • Support the cook with food prep and cooking
  • Follow hygiene and safety procedures
  • Complete kitchen paperwork (e.g., cleaning schedules, temperature logs)

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Physical ability to stand, lift and work at pace in a busy school kitchen
