Great opportunity to join our Transformation Team as a Senior Project Officer during this exciting journey at the council.
The team is at the forefront of enabling the organisation to achieve its transformation ambitions and support the delivery of the transformation programme.
With knowledge, skills, and experience, your comprehensive knowledge of project management and transformational change will enable you to work collaboratively across our diverse organisation to ensure projects remain on track.
Ideally, you will:
- Have a good understanding of the principles and application of programme and project management tools and techniques
- Have experience of working within business improvement including project experience within a transformational environment, including managing complex projects
- Have sound business analysis and change management experience
- Have a sound understanding of risk and issue management
- Be a confident and effective communicator, able to clearly present complex ideas and concepts and positively engage colleagues at all levels
- Respond well to challenges and able to prioritise competing demands
- Have excellent influencing and negotiation skills to solve problems and remain solution-focused.
- Have experience of preparing the full range of project documents from initiation to delivery and post-project evaluation.
The post is for 6 months to cover a secondment.
