Join our Housing Rehabilitation & Recovery services under the direct supervision of a Senior Accommodation Recovery Officer to assist in maintaining an individual in safe and suitable accommodation, preparing for living independently in their own homes and within designated supported accommodation settings. The role promotes inclusion, independence, recovery and well-being through outcome tools completed jointly under supervision. Support is provided in a person-centred, strength-based way.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents to set up or maintain a stable home environment and be an active part of their community.
  • Promote inclusion, independence, recovery and well-being using outcome tools; complete these jointly under supervision.
  • Deliver services in a person-centred way using a strength-based approach.
  • Work as part of a team to assist clients in preparing for living independently in their own homes or in designated supported settings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • You must hold English and Maths GCSE Grade A–C or 4, or be working towards this.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Ability to attend training.
  • Have an Adult Care Worker Qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
  • Team working and flexibility to cover some weekend and evening work on a rota basis.
