Our client is looking for a personal assistant for their son, who has additional needs, to support him in social activities and accessing the community. Our client's son is a wheelchair user. The successful candidate will have an easy-going attitude, be sensible, patient, understanding and fun. The successful candidate should also have excellent communication skills.
Our client's son requires assistance with personal hygiene, changing clothes after school and medication. Our client has always encouraged independence where possible in their son, so it is important for the successful candidate to continue this.
The role is 6 hours per week, paid at £. The role is based in Scunthorpe. Full driving license and own transport is essential. Experience in a similar role desired but not essential, as full training will be given. Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, which we will fund.
