About the role
The Market Team is responsible for the delivery and management of North Lincolnshire's indoor and outdoor markets.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the team in maintaining safe and presentable markets.
- Provide help and assistance to customers and traders.
- Maintain the hygiene and cleanliness of the building and service yard in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Support basic administrative tasks and use IT tools as required.
Working hours and location
Full‑time contract: 37 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday on a rota basis. Shifts may start as early as 6am and go up to 9:30pm. Flexibility is required to cover holidays and absences. The role is based at St John's Market in Scunthorpe town centre, with duties using the market van to attend outdoor events and markets in Brigg and Ashby.

- Full clean driving licence (required for van use).
- Basic knowledge of administration and IT literacy.
- Ability to demonstrate right to work in the UK.
