Our Health & Fitness Assistants support people visiting NL Active facilities to achieve their fitness goals by offering instruction, advice and guidance. Health & Fitness Assistants work in NL Active gyms and guide customers at every stage of their fitness journey by delivering inductions, designing personalised programmes, setting challenges, and offering continuous encouragement and support.
Health & Fitness Assistants are responsible for the day-to-day operations in our gyms, making sure that all equipment is working, and the facilities are kept clean and tidy. They also deliver group sessions such as our junior gym programme and rig workout.
We are now seeking a Level 2 Fitness Assistant for a contracted post within The Pods. Hours will include early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Applicants must hold a minimum of Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates excellent communication skills, works as part of a team, is passionate about fitness, and wants to make a difference to people’s lives. Opportunities for training and development will be available.
Candidates must be able to evidence their right to work in the UK. Please note the council does not hold a sponsor licence to sponsor people to work in the UK.
