An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified social worker to join the fostering team at North Lincolnshire Council. We are looking to appoint a Fostering Social Worker to join a highly experienced and dedicated team, on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

As a Fostering Social Worker, you will have your own caseload which can include supervision and support of fostering households and the completion of mainstream and kinship assessments. There will be an expectation to support on the fostering team duty rota (working hours only).

The right candidate will be someone who has a social work qualification and who is registered with Social Work England. You will be a strong team player, resilient and solution focused with a proactive approach to work as part of a busy team. You must be able to travel throughout North Lincolnshire independently as we cover all the North Lincolnshire area. Knowledge of fostering and children’s safeguarding frameworks is preferred.

This is a full time post and is temporary for a period of 12 months. Interviews to be held on 20/02/26. Candidates must be able to evidence their right to work in the UK. Please note the council does not hold a sponsor licence to sponsor people to work in the UK.
