Salary: £12.66 per hour

Hours: 6 hours per week term time, and 9 hours per week during school holidays – to be worked outside of school hours

DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

This is a Permanent , Part Time vacancy that will close in a month at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

Our client is looking for a personal assistant for their son, who requires support accessing the community and with recreational activities, as well as with some personal care. Our client’s son has Autism, is non-verbal in communication and uses a wheelchair. He is also PEG fed – experience with PEG feeding desired.

Our client’s son enjoys trips out on the bus as well as in the car and watching videos on his iPad. The successful candidate should be patient due to our client’s son exhibiting challenging behaviours at times. They should also be engaging and proactive with creating activities.

The role is 6 hours per week term time, and 9 hours per week during school holidays – to be worked outside of school hours. The hours will be paid at £12.66ph. The role is based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.

Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, which we will fund.
