Salary: £13.71 per hour

Hours: 6 hours per week term time, and 9 hours per week during school holidays

The Vacancy:

Our client is looking for a personal assistant for their son, who requires support accessing the community and with recreational activities, as well as with some personal care. The client’s son has Autism, is non-verbal, uses a wheelchair and is PEG fed – experience with PEG feeding desired.

The successful candidate should be patient due to the client’s son exhibiting challenging behaviours at times, and should be engaging and proactive with creating activities.

The role is 6 hours per week term time, and 9 hours per week during school holidays – to be worked outside of school hours. The hours will be paid at £13.17 per hour.

The role is based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.

Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, which the agency will fund.
