It’s an exciting time to be part of our HR and Organisational Development Team. The council is on its transformation journey, and we are at the heart of enabling the organisation to achieve its outcomes and create the best employee experience at all stages of the employee lifecycle.
We are seeking an experienced HR professional, with up to date knowledge and understanding of the broad range of HR issues, to join our People Consultancy Service. CIPD qualified, or with the equivalent knowledge, skills and experience, your comprehensive understanding of employee relations processes, supported by excellent investigatory and analytical skills, will enable you to undertake and provide support to managers with a range of casework including disciplinary, grievance, mutual respect at work, absence management, ill health retirement and performance management.
A good working knowledge and understanding of employment law and its best practice will underpin your approach and enable you to provide strategic and operational advice and guidance on a range of HR matters.
