The Vacancy

This is a temporary post for up to 6 months.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Baysgarth Leisure Centre, and we are looking for a Leisure Attendant (Lifeguard) to join our team. The role involves undertaking the duties of a lifeguard, working poolside, supporting the setting up of various sports and leisure activities such as badminton, trampoline, and table tennis, and helping to keep the facility clean, safe, and welcoming.

What we’re looking for in a successful candidate:

  • Hold a current, recognised pool lifesaving qualification (NPLQ)
  • Motivated, punctual, and a good communicator
  • Ability to follow health and safety and pool safe operating procedures
  • Ability to set up and dismantle equipment safely and efficiently
  • Willing to work shifts that include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
