We are recruiting three Intervention Workers on a temporary / fixed term basis to provide maternity cover within our Children and Families Service.
There are two positions at 37 hours per week and one at 26 hours per week.
These roles offer a rewarding opportunity to work directly with families, building on their strengths and helping them overcome challenges to achieve sustainable improvements.
About the role As an Intervention Worker, you will: Hold and manage a caseload (with supervision) and act as Lead Professional for families with additional needs.
Deliver strengths-based, outcome-focused interventions aimed at improving parenting capacity, reducing neglect, and enhancing children\'s outcomes.
Carry out Early Help Assessments and develop clear, purposeful plans with families and multi-agency partners.
Work closely with services such as schools, health, police, voluntary organisations and Family hubs to coordinate effective support.
Chair multi-agency meetings and contribute to Early Help and statutory processes where required.
Maintain accurate case records and ensure data is recorded to required standards.
Support families to access community resources, build resilience, and maintain positive changes over time.
This is a varied, hands-on role that involves working in homes, community settings and partner agencies across North Lincolnshire.
Around 60% of your time will be spent working in the community, so the ability to travel between locations is essential.
About you We\'re looking for people who are committed, motivated, and able to form positive relationships with families who may be experiencing challenging circumstances.
You will need: A Level 3 qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Experience working with children and families, including delivering targeted interventions.
The ability to write high-quality Early Help Assessments and outcome-focused plans.
Strong partnership working skills and the confidence to chair meetings and act as Lead Professional.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding, child development and family support models.
Confidence using digital case management systems and standard office applications.
A solution-focused, resilient approach – especially when supporting families where conflict or challenging behaviour is present.
