Our client is looking for two personal assistants to support their daughter, in a 2:1 capacity, who requires support accessing the community, as well as with some personal care and PEG feeding. She has epilepsy, severe asthma and Level 3 autism. She is also non-verbal but can communicate using an aid book. Our client's daughter uses a wheelchair when in the community, for her own health and safety.

Due to the provision of intimate care, our client has the right to request a carer of a specific sex. This vacancy is restricted for women only. The successful candidates should be safety-oriented, patient, energetic, bubbly and fun. The role may be physically demanding at times, so it is important for applicants to consider this. Experience with seizures is essential.

Our client's daughter is affectionate, cheerful and often quite laid back, though at times she does need more entertainment and interaction. She enjoys going to the park, being outdoors, playing with bubbles, music, singing and watching cars go by. Our client's daughter can hurt herself when overwhelmed, so it is important that the successful candidates are mindful of this as overstimulation may also lead to seizures. Applicants should also be aware that the family have two dogs.

The role is 6 hours per week term time and 9 hours per week school holidays, paid at £. The hours are to be worked on Saturdays, and a weekday evening – to be negotiated with the successful applicants. The role is based in Crowle.

Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, which we will fund. If you would like to apply please email a copy of your CV to and quote the reference 014.

Please note - The council benefits below do not apply to this vacancy.
