We’re looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individuals to help make lunchtimes a great experience for our clients. If you enjoy working with food and have a passion for great customer service, this could be the perfect role for you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Helping prepare and serve nutritious community meals.
- Following training to deputise for the cook to cover annual leave and absence.
- Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.
- Supporting the cook with food prep and cooking.
- Following hygiene and safety procedures.
- Completing kitchen paperwork (e.g. cleaning schedules, temperature logs).
- Displaying a caring attitude and team spirit.
- Good communication skills – especially with children.
- Basic literacy and numeracy.
- Awareness of food hygiene, allergens, and safeguarding.
- Willingness to complete training (e.g. Manual Handling, Food Hygiene).
