We are seeking a talented and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support to pupils with Special Educational Needs.
About the role:
- Responsibilities: Providing specific support for individual pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Minimum Grade C in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven experience in nurture and behaviour management in a primary school setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to engage and motivate children, and a commitment to being an integral part of our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specific support for individual pupils with Special Educational Needs, working alongside the class teacher to deliver programmes of learning.
- Apply knowledge of various intervention programmes, including phonics.
- Foster a positive learning environment that boosts achievement, independence and self-esteem.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong subject knowledge in English and Maths.
- Can support high-quality learning experiences for all pupils including those with special educational needs.
- Understands safeguarding practices.
- Is calm, patient, and sees the potential in all pupils.
