Workforce Rota Coordinator β South East London sites Application Deadline: 31 August 2025 Department: Rota & Capacity Employment Type: Full Time Location: Kingfisher Medical Centre & Kingfisher Surrey Docks Compensation: Β£27,000 β Β£30,000 / year Description We are seeking a highly organised and proactive person to support the planning and coordination of Clinical staffing across multiple locations and job functions. You will play a vital role in ensuring that rota including absence cover and appointment scheduling runs smoothly and in line with the service targets and budget. This is a critical support role in a fast-moving healthcare setting. You will work closely with clinical teams, and the senior management team using scheduling platforms to ensure optimum clinical cover is maintained. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will take ownership of the following tasks: The creation, publication, and ongoing management of staff rotas. Effectively communicating all changes to the relevant teams. Monitoring and recording changes across multiple platforms to ensure continuity. Processing leave requests into rota planning to avoid conflicts or shortfalls in coverage. Accurate and timely creation of appointment books Track and report on rota fulfilment, leave and coverage levels Managing leave requests, creating monthly rota in line with agreed cover levels Monitoring and recording changes managing last minute absences with emergency backfills Maintaining strong comm/ relations with the clinical teams β keeping them informed of changes and get flexibility out of them? Reporting on cover levels, budget, bottlenecks, etc. Desirable Experience & Attributes Previous experience in rota coordination, workforce planning, or operational scheduling. Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Confidence in managing multiple systems, priorities, and communication lines. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage queries and handle sensitive leave or rota issues professionally.
