If you’re a Pharmacist who loves making a real difference to patients’ lives, someone who enjoys working closely with people, building long‑term relationships, and using your clinical skills to genuinely improve health outcomes – then you might be exactly who we’re looking for. At Penrose Health, we’re proud to create an environment where excellent clinical care is matched with a genuinely supportive culture. You’ll be joining a practice full of good people, good humour, and a team spirit that makes each day both rewarding and enjoyable.

We’re committed to giving our Pharmacists real autonomy, trust, and the space to grow – whether that’s developing confidence in primary care, refining existing clinical skills, or expanding into new areas of practice. Here, your ideas are welcomed, your expertise is valued, and your contribution makes a meaningful impact from day one.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality patient care by managing all aspects of medication, including repeat prescriptions, medication reviews, and drug monitoring. Working closely within a multidisciplinary clinical team, you’ll combine strong clinical judgement with patient‑facing care to ensure safe, effective, and timely prescribing. This role offers autonomy, a manageable patient list, and the opportunity to contribute to service development within a collaborative primary care environment.

You’ll be doing things like:

  • Taking the lead on everything medication‑related: repeat prescriptions, reviews, drug monitoring, and ensuring safe, effective prescribing.
  • Running your own medication review clinics and supporting patients directly.
  • Working closely with GPs, nurses, and our wider team to deliver joined‑up, high‑quality care.
  • Using your clinical expertise to optimise medicines and improve health outcomes.
  • Collaborating with your Pharmacist Dispenser to keep repeat prescribing efficient and accurate.
  • Sharing learning with other Pharmacists in the group and contributing to service improvements.
  • Bringing strong organisational skills to keep your workflow smooth and your patients happy.

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Are a Registered Pharmacist with valid GPhC registration (experience in General Practice is a bonus, not a requirement!).
  • Have 2+ years experience working in a busy community pharmacy.
  • Enjoy combining autonomy with teamwork – managing your own list while always having colleagues to support you.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and with warmth (we’re big on kindness).
  • Can balance accuracy with efficiency in a busy primary care setting.
  • Have solid clinical knowledge and aren’t afraid to use it with confidence.
  • Are adaptable, organised, and ready to get stuck into a wide variety of work.
  • Love the idea of contributing to a practice where every role really matters.

We are unfortunately unable to sponsor applicants for this role, so you will need to have the right to work in the UK in order to apply for this role.
