Overview
Spiral Gfx in Chorley are recruiting for an Apprentice Print Manufacturer. The successful candidate will work towards completing a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship over the duration of 15 months.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with design team, receiving final customer designs to undertake Printing manufacturing process
- Taking images, check and print using computer software
- Undertake quality control process by quality checking printing results
- If needed troubleshoot printing errors with designers and production colleagues
- Setting up laminating machines and laminating successful prints
- Taking laminated prints to cutting press machinery. programme software to accurately print individual designs
- Setting up and use of the Heat shrinking machine to fulfil customer\\\'s order ready for dispatch
- As part of the small team, identify areas for improvement
- Involved in full production duties
- Motor sport event support if applicant would like to get involved in that side
