This post is within Coltness High School, Mossland Drive, Wishaw, ML2 8LY. This post will be located within one of North Lanarkshire's pilot secondary Inclusion Base/LCSC based within the above-named establishment.

Requirements and duties:

  • The successful candidate must have extensive experience of working with children with a variety of additional support needs in either a primary, secondary or specialist setting.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development and relevant training is essential.
  • This position requires the postholder to work collegiately with colleagues to promote inclusive practice.
  • This is a temporary secondment opportunity until 25 June 2027, following which the successful candidate will have the opportunity to return to their substantive post.
  • You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
  • Any offer of appointment to this post is subject to satisfactory reference(s) and any other appropriate conditions.
