Based within Wishaw Sports Centre, the main task is to assist customers within this busy venue and ensure they enjoy their visit. Customer safety, especially in the pool area, is the main responsibility.
Responsibilities- Assist customers and maintain a welcoming service within the venue.
- Ensure customer safety in the pool area and other facilities.
- Undertake a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of the venue, including general cleaning duties, setting out equipment, and preparation for events.
- Work as part of a team; maintain a strong swimming ability, pleasant manner, good communication skills, and a helpful approach with customers.
- RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, or working towards it, or be required to undergo appropriate training to obtain the qualification.
- Ability to perform a range of tasks related to venue operation and customer service.
- Must be a strong swimmer; good interpersonal skills.
- Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing.
Saturday 12:00–19:00 and Sunday 15:00–22:00
