We have a part-time vacancy for a Team Leader, working within the Customer Services Hub. The role requires agile working and the ability to travel across North Lanarkshire to support the operational needs of the Hub. You will lead a team of Customer Service Representatives delivering first class, professional customer service to the public and a high quality front line service to the Council and its partners.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An HNC or SVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Extended experience of leading a team in a busy contact centre or customer focused environment.
- A proven record of coaching and performance management to ensure your team provides the highest standard of customer service and technical advice.
- Excellent communication and IT skills.
- The ability to organise and implement plans for your team.
- A positive, proactive approach with the ability to motivate and develop a culture of teamwork.
Knowledge of relevant IT systems, personnel procedures and policies, council services and functions is desirable. The post holder is required to participate in standby rota which supports the work undertaken during out-of-hour service. From time to time the post holder may be asked to provide cover for the out-of-hours service. Appropriate allowances will be provided as necessary.
Part Time: 17.5 hours
Working Pattern: Week 1 – Mon/Tues; Week 2 – Mon/Tues/Wed
