You will be joining a dynamic and flexible team within Road & Asset Services, who currently operate a hybrid model of home-working and office based working at Station House in Bellshill and you will be required to travel throughout North Lanarkshire.

In this exciting role you will be responsible for the effective and efficient provision of a technical / administrative support service. You will assist in planning, coordinating, scheduling and supervising the work of the administrative support team. You will assist in establishing and managing office information systems, including utilising and maintaining relevant I.T systems, processing financial transactions and reporting. You will support in ensuring the service delivers positive outcomes and meets the needs of our customers and service users.

With a SV2, Higher or equivalent level qualification in a relevant discipline, you will have experience of working in a relevant environment, providing administration to a high standard and in dealing with enquiries from the public and other organisations.

To be a success in this role you will be innovative, solutions focused, influential and have the ability to assess and react to changing priorities. You will be able to adapt to new technologies that help to improve service delivery and the customer experience. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality services to our citizens and communities and you will promote the Council’s vision, values and reputation.

You will be self-motivated with a flexible and collaborative approach to work and have the ability to cope with multiple and changing demands whilst meeting tight deadlines.

With excellent organisational and IT skills, you will be able to utilise various Microsoft Office packages, and be a clear written and verbal communicator, with the ability to analyse information and clearly communicate with customers, contractors and other stakeholders.
