Reporting to the Health and Wellbeing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting, teaching and implementing a junior exercise referral programme across North Lanarkshire linked directly to child physical management interventions. You will work closely with internal and external agencies to ensure the delivery of interventions and programmes with the aim to address health inequalities, increase and maintain recommended levels of physical activity to help support residents of North Lanarkshire to lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

You will have experience of health improvement programmes at a local level with the knowledge to collate data. You will require to hold a minimum REPS Level 2 qualification and extensive experience in teaching health development programmes and initiatives, as well as excellent knowledge and understanding of all aspects of health and wellbeing development across a number of disciplines.

Location: Broadwood

As a requirement of this post, the successful candidate must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland. Temporary post until 31st March 2027.
