Overview
The goal of the Outreach programme is to maintain children and young people within their own community, working collaboratively with schools to develop a more inclusive practice and pedagogy. It is an exciting opportunity to build processes critical to ensuring that schools are supported in the development of their practice. Successful postholders will work with the team across the We Aspire estate and be part of the development of a vocational offer for ASN and SEBN young people with more complex needs, which will help support the development of bespoke packages of support.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain children and young people within their own community.
  • Work collaboratively with schools to develop inclusive practice and pedagogy.
  • Develop processes to ensure schools are supported in the development of their practice.
  • Work across the We Aspire estate and support the development of a vocational offer for ASN and SEBN young people with more complex needs.
  • Support the development of bespoke packages of support.
  • Increase opportunities for educational achievement and secure positive school and post school engagement.

Qualifications
Qualified for Primary, Secondary and ASN registered teachers. Required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencement.
