Location: St. Serf's Primary School, Thrashbush Road, Airdrie ML6 6QU

As a Senior Clerical Assistant, you will provide senior clerical and administrative support to the work of the establishment. Your main duties will include:

  • Managing the co-ordination and delegation of routine administrative tasks on a daily basis.
  • Assisting in the supervision of a small team of administrative staff.

You must have:

  • A good knowledge of IT packages.
  • Moderate relevant clerical experience.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

The ability to meet agreed deadlines, work effectively as part of a team, and use your own initiative are essential. An SVQ Level 1 or equivalent is desirable, as is supervisory experience.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

Work pattern: 17.5 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesday. This is a permanent position. Interviews will be held on 25/06/2026.
